We're Hiring
We are a small team, and we intend to stay that way. Which means the few times we do hire, it matters a great deal who joins.
A Small Team, Chosen Carefully
Marlowe & June is still run by a handful of people, and that is deliberate. We would rather work with a team who know our customers by name than a department that knows them as order numbers. It means we hire slowly and rarely. It also means that when we do, we take our time over it.
How We Work
We work remotely, across a few time zones, with far fewer meetings than most people expect. Decisions are made by whoever sits closest to the problem. If you notice something broken on a Tuesday, you are not waiting until Thursday for permission to fix it.
We also answer our own customer emails — all of us, the two of us included. It keeps everyone honest about what we sell and how it really fits.
Who Tends To Do Well Here
People who care about the small things. A reply that actually answers the question. A photo that shows the fabric properly. A size guide that saves someone the trouble of a return.
We are far less interested in résumés than in how you think, and if you have never worked in fashion before, that has never once been a problem for us.
The Roles We Come Back To
We do not always have something open, but these are the areas we return to most:
- Customer Care — making a first order feel like the right decision
- Content & Social — writing and imagery that sound like us, not like an ad
- Buying & Product — helping choose the pieces that earn their place
How To Apply
Write to hello@marloweandjune.com and tell us which area interests you, plus one thing you would change about our store. No cover letter template needed. We read every message ourselves, and we answer.
